Commissions
I’m going to show you how the process works to get your canvas portrait:
Every month, I open a new list of commissions. If this month’s list is full, I’ll make sure to get you the next available spot.
I primarily paint solo portraits and family portraits (pets are always welcome!).
If you like and give permission, your canvas portrait will be posted and eternalized on my website and social media accounts.
Prices
Each custom portrait is unique. Because it is a deeply personal piece of art, in different sizes, with different elements, number of people being portrayed, and varying levels of complexity, prices may vary.
To get a personalized quote, there is a form at the end of the page you can fill out with all the details — it helps me understand your vision and give you an accurate price.
Process
In order to ensure the highest quality artwork — something that will bring you or someone else joy for many years to come — I’ll need good quality photographs of the subjects, and we’ll collaborate in planning the piece.
The painting process takes anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks, depending on the size and complexity of the portrait, as well as my schedule. (If you have a deadline, let me know in the form and I’ll see if I can accommodate it.)
My aim is always for you to be absolutely delighted with the final piece.
Delivery
Paintings take from 1 to 3 months to dry and are delivered unframed and signed.
I ship internationally, always packing each piece securely and providing tracking.
Shipping costs are covered by the buyer.
Payment
A 50% deposit is required before we begin working on the painting. Payment is made through PayPal, a well-known and secure platform that works both ways.
The deposit is non-refundable, with the remaining balance due upon delivery of the artwork.
